CTEK is now offering free training for those wishing to learn how to install EV charge points

CTEK is now offering free training for those wishing to learn how to install EV charge points, with the training delivered monthly through an online class.

The training, delivered online by CTEK’s UK-based Skillbase team, is set to cover a wide range of essential topics. Participants will learn about installing and networking CTEK EV charge points, load balancing, configuration, and troubleshooting.

These four-hour monthly sessions are designed to improve both speed and accuracy in installations, and offer a mix of technical details and practical guidance.

The program will include walkthroughs of installation procedures, load balancing, and system configuration. Furthermore, attendees will be directed to additional resources, including online support and ‘how to’ guides, alongside an overview of the ongoing support provided by CTEK in the UK.

Scheduled to run from 9 am to 1 pm on selected Thursdays throughout 2024, the dates include:

  • March 7
  • April 4
  • May 2
  • June 6
  • August 8
  • September 5
  • October 3
  • November 7
  • December 5

Viktors Nikolajevs, CTEK UK Skillbase Manager, highlighted the positive reception of these sessions among installers, noting their effectiveness in addressing key topics such as load management, communication protocols, and networking.

“Installers say it is time well spent to find out all about EV charging, how charging units work and what they need to know to install effectively,” Nikolajevs noted, emphasising the variety of questions typically asked by participants.

The training is open to both newcomers to EV charge point installation and seasoned professionals looking to expand their expertise and take on larger projects.

Interested installers can register for a free session on EV charging installation by visiting CTEK’s website.
