Since the acquisition of Reyrolle in 2005, Siemens continues to support the Reyrolle installed base globally from Reyrolle’s original site at Hebburn in the North East of
England. An unrivalled portfolio of products and services allows Siemens to offer complete original equipment manufacturer (OEM) capabilities that are fully supported by the latest manufacturing and research and development activities.
An estimated 250,000 Reyrolle products were manufactured between the 1930’s to present day. The combination of outstanding design and build quality means that a high proportion of these units are still in service. We are fully committed to supporting the Reyrolle installed base at every stage of the product life cycle. Switchgear extensions
We maintain full production capability to deliver extension equipment for medium voltage switchgear from 3.3kV to 33kV and high voltage air and gas insulated switchgear up to 550kV. These solutions are available for a large proportion of the Reyrolle installed base and use original designs, components and materials.
Retrofit solutions
Retrofit packages provide a financially viable high quality alternative to increase the life of existing switchgear. It is often the preferred option to avoid the heavy investment needed to replace whole switchboards and reduce outage times, crucial in industrial, manufacturing and processing facilities. This process minimises system disruption whilst enabling the upgrade of the switchgear, associated protection and drawings.
Spares
We can supply parts and components for both Reyrolle and Siemens switchgear products from minor essential switchgear components to the management of your entire spares requirement and inventory. Our comprehensive archive enables us provide the exact components you require, accurate to the latest revision status ensuring technical compatibility and safety of operation. As the OEM we hold all Reyrolle product drawings and technical detail in our extensive archives, ensuring you receive the technically correct component.

Prolonging the working life of switchgear has become a necessity for users and network operators worldwide. We offer an overall service package covering full cradle to grave lifecycle management which covers rectification of deficiencies identified during maintenance inspections.
