Borri has revealed its latest range of high efficiency, compact, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) as one of the most efficient series available in the UK, providing users with 20 percent more usable power compared to other manufacturers.
Complete with a wide voltage window and increased service life of integral batteries, this high efficiency tower based UPS range is able to achieve an impressively small footprint by eliminating the need for external battery cabinets, making it ideal for a wide range of industry applications where space is limited, in particular in hospitals and IT environments.
Incorporating Borri’s sophisticated On-line double conversion topology, the new B500 6 – 10 kVA and B500EVO 10kVA and 20kVA series are extremely low maintenance and have been designed as a genuine ‘easy parallel’ UPS solution, where up to four B500s can be connected in parallel as and when required. This added flexibility to enable further capacity or redundancy, makes the new B500 range a true future proof investment.
Even more affordable than its predecessor, the B300, the B500 series combines high-tech design functionality and up to the minute technology with optimum security and UPS reliability to achieve the highest levels of protection of up to 96%.
Further efficiency levels are achieved at the rectifier stage, where the B500 has been designed to provide a unity power factor and Input Total Harmonic Distortion (THDi) at a maximum of five percent, eliminating the need to oversize input cables and switchgear and making the B500 UPS extremely generator friendly.
The B500, which can also be used as a frequency converter, comes with a powerful internal charger allowing for reliable back-up times of up to eight hours with a six-hour recovery time.
Manufactured with skilled precision and to the highest technical standards, the B500 UPS range follows in the footsteps of Borri’s sister B400 1-3kVA series, which has become a genuine market leading product since its recent launch.
