Hochiki Europe will exhibit at The Fire Safety Event 2026, taking place at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, from 28 to 30 April.
As Innovation Theatre sponsor and a returning exhibitor, the company will use this year’s event to showcase new products, run live demonstrations and deliver three expert sessions across all three days of the show.
Visitors to the Hochiki stand E97 will be able to see the company’s latest products and systems in action. The new FIREscape Nepto black range will be on display for the first time, alongside a live voice sounder demonstration and Hochiki’s water leak detection range. The stand gives specifiers, installers and fire safety professionals a practical opportunity to see the products performing rather than simply presented.
Martin Green, Commercial Training and Support Manager at Hochiki Europe, will deliver three sessions in the Innovation Theatre across the event:
Tuesday 28 April, 15:30 to 16:00 – Fire Detection System Compliance: A Building Owner’s Guide to EN54
Wednesday 29 April, 13:45 to 14:15 – Bridge Over Troubled Water: Reducing the Risk of Water Damage to UK Business
Thursday 30 April, 11:15 to 11:45 – Navigating the Hazards: A Guide to Understanding Fire Safety in a Risky World
The programme covers three of the most pressing areas facing fire safety professionals: system compliance, water damage risk and hazard navigation in increasingly complex built environments. All sessions are free to attend as part of the event’s seminar programme.
Martin Green commented, “The sessions I’m delivering at the Fire Safety Event this year cover topics that matter to a huge range of people not only working directly in the fire industry, but also across multiple sectors right now. The seminar format gives us the chance to go deeper than we can in other settings, then continue those conversations face to face both on the stand and out in the wider world.”
Shinsuke Kubo, Managing Director of Hochiki Europe, added, “The Fire Safety Event is one of the most important dates in our calendar and has been for a number of years. What makes it valuable is the quality of the people in the room. Specifiers, installers, consultants and building owners, all focused on the same thing.
“This year we are bringing new products, live demonstrations and a full programme of talks, but what we value most is the time we get to spend with customers and industry peers in the room. Understanding what they are working through, what is shaping the market right now and what they need from us.
“We come away every year with a clearer picture of where the industry is heading, that comes from the time spent face to face with the people who are navigating the same challenges every day. The fire safety sector is moving quickly and events like this are where you feel that progress most directly.”
This year, Hochiki Europe is also debuting a new exhibition stand designed and built by Quadrant2Design. The reusable, modular structure uses a lightweight aluminium frame, water-based inks and PVC-free graphics and is designed to last over 300 events across a 15-year lifespan. It reflects Hochiki Europe’s wider commitment to reducing its environmental impact across operations.
Hochiki invites all attendees of The Fire Safety Event at Birmingham’s NEC to visit their stand, E97 in Hall 4, to explore the full product range, see the live demonstrations and speak with the team. The event runs from 10:00 to 16:30 on Tuesday and Wednesday, and 10:00 to 15:30 on Thursday. Entry is free to registered visitors.
