Key Integrated Services launches high voltage division

Key Integrated Services has launched a high voltage division, expanding its electrical engineering offer beyond low voltage to provide complete LV/HV services to customers across the UK.

The new division will deliver DNO applications, full HV design and consultancy, installation, commissioning, and the ongoing maintenance and operation of HV infrastructure. The firm expects the capability to strengthen relationships with existing clients in data centres, energy, industrial and manufacturing, while opening opportunities in adjacent sectors.

“The launch of the HV division was the next logical step in the evolution of our business,” noted Saul Beresford, Director at Key Integrated Services.

“For a while now, we’ve had customers asking whether we could take on HV work given our reputation in the LV space. And the answer now is a resounding yes. To aid the success of the division, we’ve recruited Gavin Price, a veteran in the HV space with an enviable list of industry contacts, to ensure we hit the ground running.”

Gavin Price has joined the company to head up the new high voltage division. He brings more than 20 years’ experience in the HV sector, with roles at UK Power Networks, Ipsum and RSK Utility Consulting. Alongside IOSH Managing Safely and APM Project Management certifications, his background spans management of both contestable and non-contestable works.

“The opportunity to join Key Integrated Services was just too good to miss”, added Price.

“The company has an exceptional track record in delivering high quality mechanical and electrical engineering projects and I’m looking forward to building a dynamic HV Division focused on growth and operational excellence. On a personal note, I’ve reached a point in my career where I’m seeking the opportunity to build something within an organisation that upholds exceptional values and champions innovation.”
