Centiel has appointed John Kreyling as its new UK Managing Director, with current MD David Bond resuming his duties as Chairman.

Kreyling, who joined Centiel in January 2024, brings over two decades of experience in the power distribution industry. He will lead Centiel’s expansion in the UK, focusing on working closely with existing customers and developing relationships with new clients.

“Centiel is a brilliant brand at the very forefront of technology innovation and so I am now incredibly proud to lead Centiel’s expansion in the UK. My management style is hands-on and so I will enjoy continuing to work closely with our valued customers and developing relationships with new clients as we grow,” Kreyling commented.

“We have some fantastic talent in our team. The culture within the business is also particularly positive and this is both refreshing and energising when combined with the company’s vision and ambition. Add in our multi-award winning solutions plus our support structure, and we have a strong platform for growth and success as we continue to invest in people and products. I am thrilled to be appointed to this position and to lead this great business into the future.”

David Bond, who stepped into the role on an interim basis following the departure of Mike Elms in January 2024, will now resume his role as Chairman. He noted of John, “John’s extensive industry experience including eight years as a previous board director, makes him perfectly placed to lead Centiel’s continued growth. We are excited about this new chapter and I know the whole team will support his development goals as we help our customers further improve the power availability and efficiency of their facilities, while reducing total cost of ownership at the same time.”

With 23 years of experience in the power distribution industry, Kreyling has worked in LV switchgear manufacture and UPS sales and service. His previous roles have included Area, Regional and UK Sales Manager, Engineering Director, Project Director, and most recently Business Development Director. He holds an HNC in Electronic Engineering and is Level 4 NVQ qualified in project management.
