Recolight webinar to highlight how the lighting industry is planning for net zero

As we rapidly approach the 2050 deadline for net zero, Recolight is hosting a webinar to discuss how the lighting sector will achieve the feat of net zero.

Given an increasing number of companies have committed to it, while a few have already achieved it, including Signify, which will be represented on the panel, what must a lighting company do to become net zero or carbon neutral?

The Recolight webinar is set to take place on May 27, with a panel of experts from across the lighting industry will be sharing their views. The panel will share their experiences of the carbon zero journey and will be chaired by Ray Molony, of Build Back Better Awards.

Others in the panel include Maurice Loosschilder, Head of Sustainability Strategy & Reporting at Signify; Dave Hollingsbee, Managing Director, Stoane Lighting; Bill Skeates, Senior Sustainability & Compliance Manager for Sky; and Nigel Harvey, CEO at Recolight.

“Sharing what we have learned so far on our Net Zero journey might be a small but helpful step aiding others with similar intentions,” Dave Hollingsbee, commented.

Transformation to a circular economy and net zero is increasingly being seen as an essential requirement for manufacturing businesses. This will become ever more important as demand for resources rises, and energy costs increase. It also seems increasingly likely that commercial drivers, and legislative changes will make net zero a requirement of doing business.

You can register now for the Recolight Net Zero Webinar to be held on May 27. It is free to attend, and you will have the opportunity to ask questions to the panel.
