Fluke is currently offering a money-saving kit which consists of a Multifunction Installation Tester and a Pocket Thermal Imager, but the offer only runs until December 15 and while stocks last at authorised distributors.
The Fluke 1664 UK-PTi120 Kit comprises the top-of-the-range Fluke 1664 FC Multifunction Installation Tester, the only installation tester that helps prevent damage to connected appliances and also allows users to send text results wirelessly via a smartphone directly from the field, and a Fluke PTi120 Pocket Thermal Imager, a rugged, easy-to-use professional grade thermal imager for electrical and industrial inspection that fits in a pocket. Together they offer the possibility to take thermal images from a safe distance, and, if a hot-spot is detected, safety and performance testing can be carried out with the installation tester.
The Fluke 1664 FC features an Auto Test function that does five required installation tests in one sequence, ensuring compliance with wiring regulations. The Auto Test function reduces the number of manual connections, decreases the possibility of making errors, and reduces test time by up to 40% compared to previous Fluke models. The 1664 FC is designed to verify insulation resistance, loop impedance, resistance of the earth connect, resistance to earth, RCD performance in TT and TN systems, phase sequence, and loop/line impedance and RCD tests in IT systems.
Fluke DMS Data Management Software included in the kit uses the captured results from the Fluke 1664 for data recording, offers easy-to-use administration and reporting and provides printing of test reports.
The professional-grade Fluke PTi120 Pocket Thermal Imager offers simple point-and-shoot technology for quick temperature scans of electrical panels and equipment, pumps and motors, HVAC and process control equipment for hot spots and cold spots that can indicate early signs of trouble. With fully radiometric measurement, it provides 120 x 90 infrared resolution. The 3.5in touchscreen features IR-Fusion technology to blend a visible image with an infrared image to more easily locate problems. It provides a temperature measurement range from -20°C to +150°C.
Designed to withstand a 1metre drop and mounted in an IP54-rated enclosure to provide protection against dirt and moisture, the PTi120 also comes with a lanyard and USB lead, all fitting in a soft case.
