Recolight is delighted to have been shortlisted for the MRW National Recycling Awards 2017.  Recolight is one of six shortlisted companies in the category for Waste Electrical and Electrical Equipment (WEEE) Innovation.

The National Recycling Awards 2017 recognise excellence across the industry and beyond in addressing recycling, reuse and waste reduction and will be judged by a specialist panel of industry peers.

The WEEE Innovation category category aims to recognise those in the electrical and electronic supply chain, including those handling WEEE. The awarded company must illustrate creative thinking and innovation to reducing the impact of electrical and electronic equipment when it becomes waste.

Commenting on the news, Recolight CEO Nigel Harvey said “It is great to be shortlisted.  It is always thrilling when the excellent work that the Recolight team does on behalf of the lighting industry is recognized.  Having recycled more lamps, LEDs and luminaires than all other UK WEEE schemes combined, our impact on recycling in the sector is unparalleled.”
