Marco, a uPVC Cable Management Company, and one of the UK’s largest manufacturer of steel wire cable tray, has supplied a series of products to contractors Freedom Agrilek, as part of a £22.5m project to bring multiple sites from Barrow’s Furness Academy under one roof.

Marco’s, uPVC Elite 3 Dado trunking and steel wire cable tray have been supplied for use by the leading contractor across the vast school site.

Main contractor, Kier, is managing the building programme, which is expected to be completed in September 2013.

The new building, which will house over 1200 pupils, will be set over two and three storeys and is located on an existing sports pitch area. The facility will provide an indoor sports hall, multi-use games area to the rear of the new buildings, an all-weather sports pitch to the north and will utilise existing sports fields.
