Following on from the completion of three mental health facilities in Leicester, Derby and Lincolnshire earlier this year, SES, an, independent UK building services company, has been awarded two new P21 Healthcare projects worth £4.5m.

In partnership with two of its principal contractors, Costain and Interserve, SES is responsible for the installation of the full range of mechanical & electrical (M&E) services, including domestic water services, air conditioning, fire and intruder alarms, CCTV and access control switches.

M&E work on Peaks Lane in Grimsby and the Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in Sheffield, is underway and expected to be finished by the end of December 2009 and September 2010, respectively.

Jim Marner, divisional director for SES, North Division comments, "SES has been involved in a number of health sector projects including PFI, LIFT and P21 schemes over the past few years, and has a proven track record for delivering first class services.

"Although we've worked on over thirty P21 projects over the last five years, no two projects are ever the same from an M&E perspective. It's up to us to look for innovative ways to over-deliver and exceed clients' expectations, every time."
