NICEIC enters new partnership with EEIBA

NICEIC has entered a new partnership with the electrical industry charity, EEIBA. The partnership will include the sponsorship of a care worker whose task will be to visit those from the electrical industry who, through no fault of their own, have fallen upon hard times.

A dedicated EEIBA helpline will also be set up, specifically for past, present and future NICEIC registered contactors and members of staff. The helpline provides access to trained staff for advice and help on all kinds of life matters.

"This new partnership is a practical step towards ensuring real help to those in our industry who need it most, especially in a turbulent economic environment," comments Emma McCarthy, chief operating officer NICEIC Group (pictured). "I personally believe this sponsorship will ensure EEIBA's good work continues right at the coal face, and our dedicated helpline is a specific, valuable benefit for all registered NICEIC contractors and personnel."

"EEIBA is delighted NICEIC has agreed to sponsor our care worker and provide the helpline; in 2009 there are people in the electrical industry who desperately need our help and without pledges from organisations such as NICEIC, our task would be a lot more difficult," explains Timothy Lambert, chief executive EEIBA.
