Balfour Kilpatrick wins Birmingham job

Balfour Kilpatrick, the multi-services and power systems business of Balfour Beatty, has been awarded a £5m contract by Sir Robert McAlpine for the design and installation of the mechanical, electrical and plumbing services for an office block in the heart of Birmingham city centre. Balfour Kilpatrick is due to start on site in September 2007 with a 12-month programme although pre-planning is well under way.
The ultimate client is Forty Five Church Street backed by Standard Life and the client’s M&E consultant is Hoare Lea & Partners.
