Rockwell makes life science acquisition

Rockwell Automation has acquired ProsCon Holdings, a privately held engineering firm offering design solutions to the process industry.
ProsCon’s areas of expertise include process technology, control systems and information technology.
Headquartered in Cork, Ireland, with an office in Dublin, ProsCon primarily serves customers in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology markets. It specialises in helping companies comply with regulatory standards and manage their business risk. ProsCon’s management team and its employees will join the Rockwell Automation team.
“This acquisition is a vital step in increasing our global solutions delivery capability to life sciences and process automation customers in Ireland and the rest of the world,” said Bob Honor, vice president, Life Sciences, Rockwell Automation. “The ProsCon team’s expertise gives us critical mass and increased presence in Ireland, one of the fastest growing life sciences markets, as well as in Europe, one of the largest life science markets in the world”.
