The French government is to take action against an employee of state-owned electricity company EDF for authoring a book on work-time laziness, according to the BBC.

In Bonjour Paresse, or Hello Laziness, Corinne Maier advises readers on how to do as little work as possible yet still keep their jobs and advance their careers.

The nature of the book, replete with chapter headings such as “The Morons Who Are Sitting Next To You”, “Business Culture, My Arse” and “Why You Can’t Lose By Resigning”, has angered Maier’s employers. Her disciplinary hearing will take place next month.
