British Manufacturer Contactum has added RCD metal fused, connection units to its top-selling metalclad range. These additions are ideally designed for tough surface installations in heavy duty environments, such as factories, garages, workshops, plus “designer” apartments in old warehouses.

Designed to provide additional protection against the dangers of electrocution and fire hazard, Contactum's metalclad connection units eliminate the need for a plug-in circuit breaker.

In the event of a fault on the circuit, it disconnects the power supply in milliseconds, leaving the earth connection intact, with latching providing continious operation
