nVent expands service and training centres across Europe and Australia

nVent has opened and expanded a series of service and training centres across Europe and Australia, with new facilities in Jönköping (Sweden), Straubenhardt (Germany), Sydney (Australia) and Sheffield (UK).

The company said the sites are intended to provide hands-on training and application support for customers and partners using a range of nVent product lines, including nVent CADDY, ERICO, ERIFLEX, GARDNER BENDER, HOFFMAN, ILSCO and SCHROFF.

“The development of these service and training centers help us align with our customers’ needs, supporting nVent’s overall transformation and growth journey,” said Robert van der Kolk, President, EMEA and APAC at nVent.

“We are accelerating our impact across EMEA and APAC by bringing our products closer to our customers.”

The move comes as suppliers across the electrical and critical infrastructure supply chain look to improve regional support and shorten lead times, particularly for fast-growing markets such as data centres and grid infrastructure. nVent said the new and upgraded sites will be used for demonstrations, hands-on training, and discussions around application requirements for current and upcoming projects.

Service centre in Jönköping, Sweden

In Sweden, nVent has opened a service centre in Jönköping, which it says will provide express customisation services and access to its Design to Manufacturing (DTM) software.

The company highlighted the role of live demonstrations, including how the DTM platform connects with machinery to produce holes, cut-outs and assembly work. It also said the site includes an exhibition area designed to give customers a practical view of the platform, alongside tools including the PWA6000 wiring assistant and an ergonomic product range.

nVent said the service centre is located in its operating warehouse, with the intention of allowing visitors to see how the company manages inventory and service delivery in practice.

Training centre in Sydney, Australia

In Sydney, nVent has opened a training centre designed for customers, contractors, channel partners and end users. The company said the site includes a showroom for product demonstrations and will host training focused on specific applications.

nVent also said the Sydney facility has increased warehousing capacity and expanded production to meet what it described as growing demand for electrical connection products, with a particular focus on the time-saving benefits associated with its nVent CADDY and nVent ILSCO product ranges.

Experience centre in Straubenhardt, Germany

In Germany, nVent has refreshed its experience centre at its Straubenhardt site, with the company positioning the facility as a space for immersive demonstrations and partner engagement.

According to nVent, the updated centre includes a dedicated product showcase and can host up to 100 guests. The company said the space will be updated regularly to reflect new technology and support hybrid events, workshops and strategic engagements.

Service centre in Sheffield, UK

In the UK, nVent has opened a service centre in Sheffield, which it says will deliver localised support linked to panel shop automation, including its DTM software.

The company claims the Sheffield site will help bring products closer to customers and support improvements in panel assembly efficiency, pointing to potential cost and operational benefits through more local service provision.
