Segen has expanded in the Republic of Ireland with a new Dublin warehouse, while it will also distribute the Tesla Powerwall exclusively across both the Republic and Northern Ireland, bringing the home battery to installers in the two markets for the first time.
With the expansion of its Irish operation, Segen says that it now offers close to 800 SKUs from global manufacturers, alongside local stockholding, technical support and faster fulfilment.
This is all thanks to a new 808-pallet facility in Dublin, operated by Crane Worldwide Logistics. It also enables the firm to deliver orders placed before 1pm the same day, while next-day delivery is available to 90% of the Republic of Ireland via JMC.
“The solar and storage market in the Republic of Ireland is experiencing rapid growth, driven by a forward-thinking government committed to advancing the clean energy transition through attractive subsidies,” says Spencer Conday, Managing Director, Segen UK & Ireland.
“Our goal is to establish Segen as a leading distributor of renewable energy technologies in this market. Our promise is simple: to provide industry-leading products, unmatched technical support, and reliable local service that customers can count on.”
Powerwall makes Irish debut
Alongside its expanded logistics capability in Ireland, Segen has been appointed exclusive distributor of the Tesla Powerwall across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, marking the first time the product is available to installers in both regions.
“The introduction of the Powerwall – alongside other leading battery energy storage solutions – comes at a pivotal time for the Irish market, where demand for reliable storage is continuing to grow rapidly, particularly in rural areas where grid access can be limited,” says Conday.
“By combining premium technologies with expert support, local stockholding and fast delivery, we’re enabling installers and contractors to meet this demand with confidence—offering solutions that maximise savings, improve energy resilience and support the transition to cleaner, more independent energy systems.”
Beyond Tesla, Irish customers will see a broader storage line-up from Anker SOLIX, Fox ESS, Dyness, Sunsynk and Solis, plus high-performance modules and inverters, and mounting from brands including Renusol, Solarport and Schletter. The intent is to cover common residential and SME use cases with matched components and predictable lead times, rather than piecemeal sourcing.
To support project planning, Segen is extending access to its Online Portal in the Republic of Ireland, providing live pricing and availability, technical documentation and system design tools.
