According to Humphries, the MX7’s built-in power-line communication and ISO 15118 ‘Intelligent Charge’ functionality let homeowners use their EV battery as home storage: charging on low-tariff hours, selling surplus energy back to the grid, and even feeding power into the house during peak demand—all automatically scheduled via the Humax app. He also highlighted the charger’s vehicle-recognition and per-vehicle billing features, making it ideal for families with multiple cars or fleet operators seeking accurate expense tracking.
