Leep Utilities has launched a specialist extra high voltage (EHV) team to support the rising demand for power from data centres.
Leep’s EHV team will support data centre operators with utility grid connections, 132 kV networks and smart battery energy storage solutions for local heat networks.
The company said it will own, operate, and manage “every electrical element – from the point of connection to the metering position and beyond – for the entire length of contract.”
Leep will also support data centre operators to repurpose waste heat to power local heat networks in an effort to reduce grid requirements and improve energy efficiency.
