Performance iN Lighting confirms expansion to UK market

performance in lighting uk launch

Performance iN Lighting (part of the Gewiss Group) has announced that it is expanding its operations to cover the UK market.

The lighting manufacturer, headquartered in Verona, Italy, has operations in over 100 countries worldwide and now wants to have a crack at the UK. That will bring it in direct competition with a whole host of companies that already have a stronghold in the UK, including Signify, Ansell and Thorn, to name a few.

Paul Dawson, Managing Director of Gewiss UK, expressed his enthusiasm for bringing Performance iN Lighting’s range of indoor and outdoor lighting products to the UK for the first time. “We are thrilled to introduce this new range to the UK market. With our strong international presence and a solid reputation for high-quality engineering, it was a natural next step for us to expand into the UK.”

“The entire team at Performance iN Lighting brings together passion, experience, and exceptional technical expertise to create a range that truly reflects our Italian heritage. Italy is renowned for its excellence in lighting, comparable to Germany’s reputation in the automotive sector. Our products embody the essence of quality, performance, and elegance,” added Dawson.

Performance iN Lighting offers a suite of products available in a variety of sizes and specifications to suit diverse requirements, with options for optics that offer optimal flexibility in lighting effects.

Designed to enhance both public and private spaces, the range includes wall-mounted ‘chameleon-like’ luminaires that seamlessly blend into any environment, high-powered floodlighting for large sports arenas, as well as pole-mounted street and hi/low-bay industrial lighting.

Dawson affirmed, “Whether you’re a specifier seeking a product that embodies the ultimate in style, sophistication, and sleekness or a contractor seeking a product that is simple to install, maintain, and repair, the Performance iN Lighting range truly has it all.”

“Furthermore, with manufacturing sites in Italy, Germany, Belgium, and the United States, every one of our products is designed, engineered, and tested in our own facilities – ensuring that all of our valued customers have complete peace of mind,” concluded Dawson.
