As electric vehicles become more popular, so too has the market for an EVSE tester. But despite the flood of products coming onto the market, Metrel still believes that it offers a unique product with a myriad of benefits over its competitors.
“The EVSE tester market is getting more crowded,” commented Brendan Beaver, Metrel UK’s manager.
“But it is worth remembering that only Metrel multi-function testers will guide you through the process to make sure all the required tests are performed and the installation is satisfactory. And all for the cost of an ordinary multi-function tester.”
The company has already noted that its EVSE kit, which launched earlier this year, has the ability to cut the cost of testing electric vehicle charging equipment.
Brendan continued, “Our recently announced EV contractor kit takes advantage of the modern dot matrix screens on Metrel multifunction testers to not only display the results of tests but to guide you through the tests. Once initiated the EVSE Autosequence tests lead you through both the functional and electrical tests required to certify the installation. That is great for beginners and faster for experts.
“The results can then be saved on board, and any comments made using the qwerty keypad and the accompanying software makes certification a breeze.”
