Mechanical and electrical building services provider J S Wright has boosted its growing electrical business with two major appointments.
Richard Pendleton has been appointed as senior electrical project manager to help manage the electrical element of M&E projects, as well as solus electrical projects, for the 129-year-old Birmingham-based contractor.
Based at J S Wright’s London office in Westminster, Pendleton has more than 15 years’ experience in electrical project management beginning as an apprentice and later as an electrical technical officer with a rail infrastructure provider.
Rising to contracts director after moving to M&E contractors across London and the South East, Pendleton is credited with managing the installation of electrical services for a new building and energy centre for broadcaster Sky, and again for Bond Street station as part of the Crossrail construction project.
He is currently working on a new £17 million M&E contract for The Silk District in Whitechapel, as well as overseeing work on the Arena Central mixed-use scheme in Birmingham and a new student accommodation building in Exeter.
Richard Moloney has been appointed by J S Wright as a senior electrical project engineer also working out of the company’s London office.
With more than 30 years of experience in the electrical industry, he was previously a project manager for an Essex-based electrical contractor, where his responsibilities included managing a £4 million project in East London.
Prior to that, Moloney ran his own electrical business for 20 years, specialising in large-scale residential work, which included a £2 million contract to refurbish an old rectory. He also co-owned a renewable energy company, installing PV systems, solar thermal, air to water and ground-source heating systems.
Moloney is also working on J S Wright’s Silk District project as the largest self-delivered M&E residential project in the company’s history.
Phil Leech, J S Wright managing director, said, “The skills and experience of our latest recruits will help us meet a rapidly growing order book for electrical services and strengthen our reputation as the M&E services contractor of choice for developers of multi-million-pound residential projects.”
