HellermannTyton launches YouTube video series for tips, tricks and training

HellermannTyton wants to make installing its products as easy as possible, which is why the company investing in a new YouTube video series that will share everything from industry tips and tricks, to product training. 

The YouTube series is a way for the brand to showcase its products and how installers can get to grips with them. The first two episodes see technical sales manager Barry Phelps and assistant product manager Mark Dunn, demonstrate how to install a heat shrink boot in high temperatures, and how to make a seal on a heat shrink shape with hot melt adhesive tape, in order to insulate and protect cables against heat, chemicals or water.

This is not the first time HellermannTyton has used video to demonstrate its products, with the firm having released numerous videos on its YouTube channel in the past on an ad hoc basis. Now, the company plans to release videos regularly, although has yet to announce an exact schedule. 

John Banks, head of product management and marketing at HellermannTyton, commented on the launch of the new YouTube series, “This new series offers an excellent platform for HellermannTyton to give helpful, informative content for our customers, and build a highly-skilled community of professionals. We believe these short videos will give our viewers a better view of how to use our products while giving those new to the trade a wider view of our industry.”
