Vent-Axia wants to reduce its environmental impact by ditching the usual product guides, data sheets and technical manuals, and instead package them all inside a digital app, known as the Knowledge Hub.
The Knowledge Hub, which is available for both iOS and Android, will be home to all of the vital information you may need about Vent-Axia’s products and services. That includes product brochures, datasheets, technical manuals, Building Regulations, downloadable leaflets on condensation, mould, and indoor air quality, as well as ventilation guides.
“We are very excited to provide our customers with access to Knowledge Hub, enabling them to obtain all the information they need on our products quickly and easily. Users will find the app straightforward and accessible, with a choice of how to view the documents,” noted Jenny Smith, head of marketing at Vent-Axia.
“Available wherever a customer is, whenever they need it, the Knowledge Hub means the correct information is always there at the touch of a button – with no need to carry around brochures, catalogues or instruction manuals.”
While the Knowledge Hub is unique in the HVAC industry, it’s not exactly a completely new idea. Car manufacturers have already been shifting their user manuals and guides online, with the likes of Ford and Tesla offering customers the choice of accessing all the necessary information about their car on an app.
There are many advantages to this approach, as it means technical manuals can be updated if there are any issues identified after the product is released, or, in the case of brochures, it can simply be refreshed with the latest product releases.
For those customers who would still prefer a print copy of product information, Vent-Axia is will supply this on request, but for those wishing to go digital, you can grab the Android app from the Google Play Store, or the iOS version on the Apple App Store.
