JTL has announced a new partnership with electrical distributor, Edmundson Electrical, as part of its annual free toolkit initiative.

For the last four years, JTL has been distributing free toolkits to apprentices who are on a qualifying apprenticeship. Edmundson Electrical will be providing the toolkits to apprentices up and down the country, to ensure that every electrical apprentice is equipped for the job in hand.

JTL’s chief executive, Jon Graham, said: “Providing a free toolkit to every electrical apprentice during their first year is fundamental to our aim of making every apprentice feel an important part of the profession. We are delighted to be working in partnership with Edmundson Electrical and look forward to developing a strategic relationship over the coming years.

“We would like to thank SuperRod and Klein Tools for their support over the past four years. Providing free toolkits has been an important part of our commitment to the sector.”

Matt Ward, head of training and development at Edmundson added, “We are delighted to be partnering with JTL on this initiative. Edmundson is very focused on apprenticeships and we see this as a superb opportunity to invest in the industry’s future and support the JTL apprentices at the start of their careers. They are the electricians, and hopefully our customers, of tomorrow”.
