Prism Power becomes Schneider Electric’s critical power partner

Schneider Electric has announced its partnership with Prism Power.

The amount of data generated globally is expanding at an unprecedented rate, putting huge pressure on data centre infrastructure and software. As a result, the data centres market is expected to be worth $135 billion by 2025.

Prism Power designs, manufactures, installs and provides on-going power system maintenance services for organisations within the UK and worldwide. With this new partnership, the company will be able to power more data centres across the globe, as well as deliver a higher level of connectivity to customer’s with Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure Power Monitoring Expert. 

Schneider Electric will also directly benefit from partnership. In particular, the business will have access to Prism Power’s data centre end-users, further extending Schneider Electric’s reach in the market. The move will ultimately reinforce Schneider’s position as a leader of critical power solutions into the data centre segment.

“With the level of connectivity that our customers demand, we need to provide the highest level of performance possible. Combining the EcoStruxure Power Monitoring Expert with our low voltage switchgear solutions will broaden our offer to customers, truly optimising performance”, said Dave Chapman, systems sales manager at Prism Power Group.

This is another great addition for our EcoXpert partner programme and one that will continue our growth in the area,” added Lee Jones, EcoXpert programme manager at Schneider Electric.
