HE Simm has been appointed by Vermont Construction to deliver an £8.5m contract at Infinity, a new luxury residential and commercial scheme in Liverpool’s business district.

The contract will see the company install and commission MEP services for the tallest tower in the scheme, which, when complete, will offer 416 apartments over 38 floors. The overall scheme comprises three glazed residential towers which are designed to maximise views of the River Mersey, whilst providing communal facilities on a podium at the base of the towers.

The communal facilities will offer its 1,000 residents two landscaped gardens, a pool and gym complex, cinema, resident lounges and meeting rooms. When complete the development will allow for views which reach all the way to some of the highest peaks in the Lake District and Wales, with Snowdon and the Old Man of Coniston within the eye-line.

Greg Simm, business unit director for HE Simm in Liverpool, commented, “Liverpool has become synonymous with luxury developments of this nature. We have a proven track record in such schemes, which, along with our Liverpool heritage and a very strong and successful relationship with Vermont Construction, made us the perfect MEP partner.”

The company will start work on site in January 2020. The completion date for the scheme is November 2021.
