Marshall-Tufflex launches interactive recycling calculator

Providing a window into cable management Marshall-Tufflex has launched its Recycled PVC-U Calculator, showing users exactly how much recycled material is included in each of its products and therefore saved from being sent straight to landfill.

With sustainability and recycling increasingly in the spotlight, Marshall-Tufflex has provided complete transparency into the environmental impact of its products with the launch of its Recycled PVC-U Calculator.

Based on product usage during 2018, the calculator allows users to select a range of products and quantities, and then calculate the percentage of recycled material used, and the number of kilograms saved from going into landfill.

Paul Hetherington, chief executive officer at Marshall-Tufflex, explained that, “For 20 years, we have been using recycled material in the manufacture of our products, saving the equivalent of 300 double decker buses worth of plastic going into landfill every year.

“Our goal is to start the conversation throughout the supply chain, from architects to end users, and encourage everyone to make informed decisions when purchasing PVC-U trunking systems.

“Our Recycled PVC-U Calculator has been developed so we can be as clear as possible about our environmental commitments and demonstrate the impact we have as a company.”

Twitter users can now also take part in the Recycled PVC-U Calculator challenge in four simple steps:

Step One: Enter your favourite PVC-U Marshall-Tufflex products into the calculator.

Step Two: Choose the quantity required for each product.

Step Three: Click “Calculate” so see how much PVC-U your basket stops going into landfill.

Step Four: Screenshot and Tweet your results to @MTufflex using #recycledpvcucalculator
