Progman and Schneider Electric have announced they have signed a cooperation agreement, enabling Schneider Electric’s Ecodial electrical calculations to be integrated into the electrical modelling functions of MagiCAD Electrical for Revit, Progman’s BIM software for electrical design.
MagiCAD Electrical enables integrated electrical building services calculations to be performed directly from the Revit model, complete with bidirectional flow of data between the calculations and the Revit project. This means electrical designers using Revit technology no longer need to perform the calculations separately using external calculation software.
