Napit made its debut at this year’s PLASA Show which took place between the 16-18 September 2018 to promote its BS 7909 Competency Scheme and City & Guilds Accredited training programme.

Temporary electrical installations are required at a range of both public and private events and to continue to raise awareness of the importance of electrical safety and compliance within the entertainment industry, Napit attended the PLASA show at London Olympia.

Napit is currently the only organisation who actively support the events and production industry by offering a competency scheme. As a result, Napit was one of four companies to receive a special commendation from the judges during the awards, saying “We wanted to commend NAPIT for developing an electrical qualification and competency scheme that is relevant to our industry, including TV, film, events and theatre.”
