We live in a world where new inventions, processes and ideas can be a real game changer and disrupt the way we do things.  The internet, mobile phones, the electric car etc. are just a few we have seen over the last few decades.

The briefing this year, sponsored by Trend Controls, looks at the technologies and processes the sector might expect to see in the future and the implications that these innovations may have for building services both in the commercial and residential sector.

This year the event is being chaired by Oliver Zimmermann, CEO of Condair Group AG.

The keynote speaker is Susan Hone-Brookes Chief Engineer for Construction, Infrastructure and Energy at the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC).

New speakers announced include  Matthew Gough, director of innovation and winning work, Mace, Neil Thompsom, digital design and delivery lead, Atkins Global and CEO of DotBuiltEnvironment, Michael Potter, managing director and founder of DriveElectric

After Lunch Speaker – Andrew Strauss OBE

Andrew Strauss is director of cricket for the England national team.  Among the world’s most respected players, he is one of only three England captains in history to secure Ashes victories both home and away. Under his stewardship, the national side achieved No.1 Test ranking.
