Napit staff and partners from Napit Drive and Napit Insurance completed a 30 mile walk along the Jurassic Coast on 25 May.
The circular walk, which started and finished at Worth Matravers, took the team 13 hours to complete and is part of Napit’s efforts to raise money for The Electrical Industries Charity (EIC).
The team started with a steady 12 miles passing Corfe Castle, following this with a ramble along the beach at Studland Bay. After another eight miles, the group reached Swanage for a short break before taking on the final and most difficult stretch of 10 miles.
Heading up the cliffs along the coastline of Dulston and Anvil point, the team faced challenging moments tackling thick sea-mist and unstable terrain along the South West Coastal path.
Successfully finishing the challenge at 7pm, the group made their way one-by-one back into camp showcasing an impressive range of blisters and insect bites.
The EIC offers a range of services to people in the electrical and energy related industries, including assistance and guidance with health, employment, education and financial issues.
