Latest LED lighting and the IoT at LuxLive

Electrical Review Logo

Fulham, one of the world’s leading suppliers of lighting components and electronics, is making its debut at LuxLive this year with its latest LED lighting products for OEMs, distributors and lighting professionals.  Amongst the Fulham products on display on Stand C16 will be the LumoSeries LED drivers, HotSpot Plus LED and emergency lighting drivers.

Demonstrating its deep commitment in the European lighting market Russ Sharer, vice president of global marketing and business development, is speaking at the show on Weds 24 November at 4pm on, ‘Why we need interoperability standards.’ Here he will consider the Internet of Things (IoT) and why the lighting industry including designers and contractors must embrace the full interoperability of lighting controls to ensure that future lighting works with and interfaces with other technologies for a bigger market opportunity.

Mark Needham, Fulham’s european vice president for sales commented, “This is an exciting time for Fulham as we expand our presence in Europe. From our base in the Netherlands and with new distributors being appointed around Europe, we are able to offer the lighting market some of the best LED equipment available for lighting luminaire manufacturers.  As well as our extensive range of LED and emergency lighting drivers, we have also partnered with Control Network Solutions (CNS) to deliver world-class IoT smart lighting solutions based on DALI platforms which allow even greater control of power and lumen outputs from LED lighting and for optimum life.”

Developed at the new Fulham European Design Centre in the Netherlands, the LumoSeries are the company’s newest LED drivers designed to be adaptable for various lighting applications. The drivers have low inrush current so more drivers and luminaires can operate on a single circuit, reducing the cost of wiring and installation. The LumoSeries drivers also have adjustable output currents, and their compact design makes them ideal for use in any manufacturer’s luminaries. The LumoSeries drivers are offered in both constant current and constant voltage models, including dimmable and DALI versions.

Fulham’s European HotSpot Plus is a plastic cased, all-in-one unit with terminal block and covers that combines a 0-10V dimmable LED driver with a built-in emergency lighting system, complete with replaceable backup battery, eliminating the need for a separate emergency lighting system. The HotSpot Plus operates as a 40W constant current LED driver with programmable output current from 250-1400mA, and for emergency lighting the built-in battery provides between 1W and10W output. The HotSpot Plus features a wide voltage output range and comes with its self-test capability as standard, and all within its industry leading compact case size.
