Uninterruptible power supply (UPS) specialist, Power Control (PCL) has been approved as an accredited supplier by one of the UK’s largest qualification certification scheme for construction related contractors, consultants and material suppliers, Constructionline.
Constructionline requires all certified suppliers to complete the rigorous PAS91, prequalification questionnaire (PQQ). The government scheme assesses a plethora of business criteria including health and safety procedures, professional conduct, financial status, insurance verification and previous experience.
Commenting on this latest accolade, PCL’s sales director, Mark Trolley, said: “Being approved by Constructionline further emphasises our commitment to constantly achieve high standards whilst underlining our drive for continuous improvement.
“We hope that the added reassurances provided through Constructionline will not only help PCL differentiate itself from its competitors but also open up greater opportunities for the business to reach an even wider customer base.”
PCL is also part of the Safe Contractor accreditation scheme, which recognises quality standards of health and safety practice amongst UK contractors. Aligned to this and further highlighting the company’s pledge to setting quality safety standards it has been an approved NICEIC approved contactor since 2010.
Formerly Borri, PCL rebranded in January 2015 to allow the company to showcase and develop its full portfolio including its wider pool of equipment, technical services and project solutions. This scope also further emphasises PCL’s commitment to delivering tailored power protection solutions for the UK and overseas markets.
