Megaman is using its expertise in energy saving lighting to design fittings that make maximum use of the company’s energy efficient LED lamps. To enable the user to get the maximum benefits from this technology, Megaman has designed fittings for a variety of applications and will be introducing new products to its fixtures range over the next six months. The range has recently introduced three new products which are Dino, Berto and Vito.
Dino is a linear integrated LED batten incorporating Megaman’s Tecoh FLx LEDs that provide the perfect alternative to T5 or T8 fluorescent fittings. Ideal for either exterior or interior applications. Dino has a UV resistant and corrosion proof casing, is IP66 protected against water and dust and is IK08 vandal resistant, with a tough polycarbonate body and prismatic diffuser and a long life with low maintenance. Providing a 120 degree output for wide light distribution and high uniformity at 70% lumen at 50,000 hours, Dino is available in 19.5W, 46W and 70W variations, also with PIR sensor options. The fitting is CE Certified and has a wire through feature making cable runs shorter.
With its heavy duty, solid and resilient casing, Dino is perfect for use in a wide range of applications including car parks, walkways, corridors, underground areas, in addition to harsh internal installations such as commercial kitchens.
Vito is a fully integrated, recessed, adjustable LED downlight that is suitable for Tecoh RDx modules (4100 to 5100 lumens) and provides an ideal replacement for metal halide lamps up to 70W.
Easy to install with standard cut out sizes, Vito offers up to 50,000 hours life and incorporates Megaman’s new Perfect White technology which intensifies and brightens white tones and enhances colours. The gimbal design allows for multi directional tilting and focus to provide flexible illumination for any retail application with perfect results. Vito is CE Certified and is available in either a white or silver casing with a 3 year warranty. External drivers (non-dimming, dimming or DALI) are sold separately.
Berto is an ultra slim LED panel luminaire that is ideal for use in high footfall applications with limited access for maintenance or shallow ceiling voids. A perfect replacement for 4 x 18W T8 or 3 x 24W T5 fluorescent fittings, Berto contains a wide beam angle, has a high uniformity lighting performance of 70% lumen at 50,000 hours and is available in 40W or 50W variants. The luminaire comes complete with a non- dimming driver but dimming drivers, 1-10V operation or DALI are sold separately. Maintained emergency options are also available.
This CE Certified fitting is suitable for exposed T-grid ceilings and has a wipe free surface that simplifies cleaning and maintenance. Berto is simple to install and comes with Megaman’s 3 year warranty. Suitable applications include offices, retail installations, schools and hospitals.
