Critical power specialist, Powertecnique, is launching its new modular UPS (uninterruptible power supply), the Maxsis XR, at Emirates Stadium on 26th February 2015.

Powertecnique will be showcasing its new modular range, which offers a full range of solutions and a matrix of power modules, so that the user can achieve exactly what they want.

Peter Chai-Tsai, Sales and Marketing Director at Powertecnique, explains: “The new Maxsis XR offers a large selection of frame sizes to allow customers to gain specific solutions to their requirements. The modular UPS system comes with a range of module sizes, and the most popular are 20kVA or 40kVA modules. If you wanted 200kVA N+1 redundancy for example, you would need six 40kVA modules to satisfy your requirement. The chassis of the Maxsis XR offers more than one frame size, so that users can tailor a solution with different sized modules to give flexibility.

“Whereas previously, you had to have separate enclosures for batteries, the Maxsis XR allows the user to mix and match solutions to house both elements inside the same chassis. Alternatively, matching battery cabinets are available, or external open racks to house the batteries. The architecture of the unit is very flexible and space saving.”

For those unable to attend the launch, Powertecnique is opening a showcase area at its Hampshire headquarters.
