Kosnic, an established global manufacturer of the latest in LED lamp and luminaire technology, announced the launch of its new LED Luminaire and Filament LED lamp ranges at LuxLive 2014, as well as its new Kosnic Wireless Control technology.
The Kosnic LED Luminaire range includes the company’s new Pyramid LED panel luminaire. The distinctive Kosnic Pyramid LED panel luminaire, with a recessed 300mm square light source, delivers an impressive 3300lm output with an efficiency of up to 91lm/W at 6,500K. Its uniform light output and exceptional lumen efficiency make it an ideal, contemporary alternative to standard panel luminaires. With 40,000h operating life, compatibility with DALI and 0-10V dimming drivers and an emergency plug-in module option, the Pyramid LED panel is a versatile luminaire for any office, classroom, corridor or meeting room application.
Also new to the Kosnic LED Luminaire range is the IP65 Batten. Available in 1ft, 2ft, 4ft and 5ft lengths, the IP65 LED batten offers 5600lm output, 80lm/W lumen efficiency and is ideal for outdoor as well as indoor applications. With a 40,000h operating life and daylight as well as warm-white colour temperature options, it is the ideal replacement for dual fluorescent battens.
As well as new Highbay and Lowbay LED luminaires, the Kosnic LED Luminaire range also includes the company’s first UK designed and manufactured LED fitting – Kurve. Suitable for commercial and retail fit outs, the three lay-in, recessed designs bring elegance and a contemporary feel to any 600mm x 600mm retrofit installation. All of the Kosnic range has undergone independent photometric testing to ensure accurate data for the production of lighting schemes and model illumination performance, using DIALux and RELUX and the new Kosnic LED Luminaire range catalogue is available to download or in hard copy via www.kosnic.com.
Kosnic also used LuxLive as the platform to launch its new range of dimmable and non-dimmable LED Filament lamps. The range includes 2W clear and frosted candle versions, 4.5W and 7W clear GLS lamps and a 4.5W clear globe option. A dimmable 6W GLS lamp is also being shown on stand. The Kosnic LED Filament range ensures that there is a decorative lamp solution for any and every hospitality and domestic application.
Kosnic also demonstrated its Kosnic Wireless Control technology for the first time at LuxLive that uses a constant current driver with a ZigBee module, with wireless control via smartphone or tablet App. Luminaires fitted with Kosnic Wireless Control technology, bring even more functionality and control potential to the Kosnic product range.
Kosnic range of Cyaniris LED linear modules and DD modules were also on show at LuxLive. Used in manufacturing a wide range of Kosnic and OEM products, these modules offer high lumen efficacy, are easy to install and offer OEMs a range of high quality, LED lighting options.
