ESP continues to develop its Aperta range of door entry products and following the success of its Wi-Fi Door Stations launched earlier this year, the company has now introduced a battery-powered version – making it quicker and easier than ever to install a security solution, without the need for cabling.
The new Wi-Fi Door Stations – available in graphite grey and matt black versions – are powered by 4 x AA batteries and each kit comes with a battery-powered chime which can be placed in a convenient location in the home.
Aimed at both the domestic and light commercial markets, the Wi-Fi Door Stations with Record Facility, allow you to view and talk to visitors at your home whether you are on the premises or on the other side of the world. From a smart phone or tablet and using the free ESP app, property owners will get alerts to visitors and can easily see who is at the door or gate, engage in two-way communication and allow remote access if desired.
The WiFi Door Station comes in a kit form containing everything required for the installer to quickly and simply get the system up and running, including the Wi-Fi door station, 10DB Wi-Fi antenna, micro SD card (pre-installed) and LAN terminal. Requiring Wi-Fi or 4G, it is recommended that the door station is programmed prior to installation. For a successful set up, the installer much ensure that the user’s smart phone is connected to the Wi-Fi network, the Door Station is within the network’s Wi-Fi range and that the key/password is available.
Once the sunshield of the door station has been surface mounted, the camera can then be mounted to the sunshield using the hex screw supplied. The robust metal housing and IP rating makes it weatherproof and suitable for many external applications. The HD camera provides high definition colour images, while the external 10db WiFi antenna provides a method of strong Wi-Fi connection.
ESP’s expanded Wi-Fi Door Stations range is offering security solutions across a wide range of applications, providing easy access to visitors, carers, gardeners, cleaners and maintenance workers.
