Success for Enlogic at Data Centre Solutions Awards

New intelligent PDU provider Enlogic has recently celebrated great success at the Data Centre Solutions awards after coming runner-up for the award for ‘Datacentre Power and Cooling Product of the Year’.

New to the data centre market, Enlogic was up against stiff competition from Schneider Electric, Server Technology and Emerson with its intelligent PDU, before coming second only to Excool, which won the award judged by industry peers through a public independent vote.

The success recognises Enlogic as a leading innovator in the datacentre industry, providing the critical component in the fight against data centre energy waste through its intelligent range of energy metering Power Distribution Units (PDUs).  The team is armed with invaluable experience from extensive careers at ABB, APC, Emerson Network, Schneider Electric, the US Department of Energy and more.

The Enlogic executive team aims to bring the industry what it sorely needed, an updated, modern PDU able to fit the requirements of a business world increasingly driven by large data, and reliant on very large data centres. The product although in its infancy in the market, has already begun to change buying behaviours, forcing DCMs to rethink how they monitor and use energy.

Franziska Priebe, Marketing Manager of award organisers’ Angel Business Communications, comments: “All finalists did well in making the shortlist and it was tough competition so congratulations to Enlogic on bagging the first Runner Up title in “Datacentre Power and Cooling of the Year.”

Enlogic’s intelligent PDUs, working at rack level, provide data centre and facilities managers with the comprehensive, accurate energy measurement data they need to make the most efficient use of power resources, inform capacity planning decisions, improve uptime, measure PUE (power usage effectiveness) and drive green data centre initiatives that could save energy and money. www.enlogic.com [email protected]
