The event will provide advice on industry best practices with a range of industry experts enlightening the audience on the numerous environmental pressures facing public sector organisations.

Speakers include Greg Markham, president of the Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estates Management (IHEEM). Markham has over 20 years experience in building services engineering maintenance across the NHS and various private sector businesses, including the formation and leadership of new energy management, technical advisor, asset and lifecycle management and condition based maintenance teams.

Dr David Hickie, executive director of the Public Sector Sustainability Association (PSSA) and Paul Burnett, group development director of Imtech will also deliver keynote presentations at the conference which will run between 11:30am-3:00pm.

Nick Lee, group marketing manager for EMSc (UK) commented, “Our previous conferences have proven very successful and this one looks set to replicate the success, with an exciting line up of speakers, and a large turnout of delegates looking to further sustainability strategies in their organisation.”

Lee added, “A growing number of senior managers recognise that due to ever increasing energy costs and government legislation, they have to find ways to reduce energy use and CO2 emissions. The conference will provide an excellent opportunity to learn how, by introducing simple solutions, they can take steps to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions associated with their operations.”
