ZIGOR OFFER PUBLIC AND EDUCATION SECTOR DISCOUNT ON ALL UPS

Global uninterruptible power supplier Zigor has announced it is offering the public and education sectors a special discount on its range for the third successive year.

Zigor are reducing all their UPS products by 10 per cent to the public sector from May 1 until September 30 with the aim of helping hospitals, schools and councils protect their power. Organisations simply need to quote reference ERPS2013 to receive the discount.

The UPS supplier ran similar campaigns in 2011 and 2012 and has decided to act again this year with the public and education sectors under continued pressure to show a greater return on their IT investment.

Zigor’s range of uninterruptible power supplies start at 650va line interactive plug ‘n’ play UPS systems extending up to 400 kva three-phase power solutions.

Gavin Banks, Sales Manager at Zigor, said: “We are delighted to be running the discount scheme to all public sector organisations for another year. Zigor is first and foremost a business like any other but we also like to react to the demands of the market and try to understand what constraints are put on our customers during difficult financial times.

“Zigor recognises that the public and education sectors, in particular, are still under huge financial strain in the United Kingdom. Some organisations may be tempted to put off spending money on their UPS in the hope that they won’t get caught out by a sudden power cut.

“But if a power event was to occur it could end up costing those in the public and education sectors more if they don’t have proper power protection in place. The effects of data loss can be hugely disruptive but Zigor’s new public sector discount campaign means they do not have to take that risk and can protect their power and equipment properly.”
