Next generation farm duty motors
Regal Beloit has introduced the Leeson EcoAg range of high efficiency motors, primarily for use in agriculture but also suitable for a wide variety of applications in remote or outdoor environments.
The motors are available in single phase and three phase versions. The single phase design ranges from 0.3hp to 2hp with frame sizes from 56 to 145T. The three phase version goes up to 10hp and frame size 215T. All have an output speed of 1800rpm.
The energy efficiency of the EcoAg range is up to 22 per cent better than industry standards for agricultural motors, giving a substantial saving in annual power costs. Typical agricultural uses will include fans, augers, feeders, grain dryers, and processing equipment, while non-agricultural applications include a wide range of pumps and machinery for forestry, signage, aerials, access equipment, mobile handling and many other industries.
