During the past three years, the company has significantly invested in enhancing its range, now offering five variations of finishes in order to meet changing market demand. Available in electro-zinc, hot-dipped galvanised, pre-galvanised, powder coated and stainless steel finishes, Marco steel wire cable tray is offered in three depths – 30mm, 55mm, and 106mm, supported by a wide range of available fittings to join and support the wire tray.??In comparison to conventional tray, Marco steel wire cable tray is light in weight, enabling bends to be easily fabricated on site. The design makes installation quick and convenient, thereby reducing on-site costs.
Tried and tested – in house
Product development and investment has been critical in sustaining the company’s market leading position and Marco is constantly looking at new ways of enhancing existing ranges through the development of supporting accessories and fixings.
Marco realises that through innovative and simple accessory solutions, installers can achieve major savings through time spent on site, in turn resulting in significant cost savings for their customer. To be able to continue on the path of innovation, Marco has invested significantly in its own in-house testing suite.
Using the latest testing equipment, Marco is able to develop products in line with changing regulations whilst an in-house facility offers the flexibility and autonomy to research and develop independently and be creative and innovative.
Innovation
Marco has a technical team in place to ensure product development is a continual process. Innovations including the Quick Fix Strut Clip have been well received across the industry. Replacing the traditional nut bolt and zebadee, the new Strut Clip simply locks into place quickly, securing the steel wire cable tray to the strut, making installations faster and easier and saving the contractor time and money. Another accessory, the Marco Quick Lock, allows rapid installation for sweeping bends, which negates the use of traditional four-part nut and bolt clamp. The Quick Lock is easily clipped into place and secured by bending the tab through the bracket. The process is quick and uncomplicated – no special tools are required, allowing for a quick, secure and immediate installation.
A commitment to deliver
At Marco, we understand how important a quick turnaround of every customer order is and therefore high stock levels are critical. In 2012, Marco opened a 25,000 sq ft site that will be used as a distribution depot for steel wire cable tray only. In doing this the company is able to retain stock and react instantly to orders rather than offering a two to three day turnaround, as is typical throughout the industry.
Customer service continues to be at the heart of all that Marco does, recognising that to stand still is not an option if it is to sustain a strong (and growing) UK customer base.
