The Seaward Group has been awarded the Supplier of the Year title in this year’s Hire Awards of Excellence.

Organised by the HAE, the Hire Awards of Excellence are designed to recognise excellence throughout the Hire Industry. Although all awards are independently judged, the Supplier of the Year award won by Seaward was determined by customer votes.

The Seaward Group is a long established supplier of electrical safety testing instrumentation to the hire sector through both its Seaward PAT range and its Clare specialist tool and hire equipment testers.

Alongside the development of advanced technology electrical safety testers, Seaward has also been actively involved in a wide range of training, educational and information campaigns to help hire and rental companies continue to meet their obligations to ensure the equipment it supplies to its customers is electrically safe.

Rod Taylor, managing director of the Seaward Group, said: “We are very proud of the relationship we have developed with the hire sector. We have long standing links with the industry and we are delighted that our efforts to help ensure the highest electrical safety standards among hire and rental companies have been recognised in this way.”

Graham Arundell, HAE EHA managing director, said: “Congratulations to Seaward on winning the HAE Supplier of the Year 2012, nominated and voted for by hire companies. The number and standard of entries in the HAE Hire Awards of Excellence grows each year, as does the number of hire professionals attending the Awards dinner.
