Fire alarm panels deliver time and cost savings

Electrical Review Logo

Kentec’s new AlarmSense compatible Sigma CP-A 2, 4 and 8 zone fire alarm control and indicating panels are designed to deliver significant time and cost savings, compared with standard four-wire conventional systems, through greatly reduced cabling and installation requirements.

The Kentec AlarmSense range allows Apollo Alarmsense devices, including smoke and heat detectors, call points, base sounders, base sounder/beacons and relay units, to be wired to the same pair of cables, with rapid system configuration for common, zonal or two-stage alarm by simply setting one of the panel’s configuration options.

False alarm management is also very efficient, with alarm verification via the general and local alarm facility on AlarmSense sounders and beacons, which is particularly useful in Houses of Multiple Occupation (HMO) such as student accommodation or nursing homes.

All control panels have an integral, mains powered battery charger and power supply compliant with the requirements of BS EN54-4.
