A newly developed contact system primarily differentiates the Panasonic AEQ series from conventional ultraminiature switches. Sliding contacts mean the contact force does not depend on the actuating path but rather ensure a stable and even contact force across the entire actuating area. This innovative sliding contact system also guarantees bounce less operation. Over travel of 2.2mm on the NO side and 2.5mm on the NC side enables a high degree of tolerance during the design phase and hence makes the switch attractive for a wide variety of applications.
