An on-going relationship and a reputation for supplying quality equipment have secured Borri another order from ZF Lemforder UK, a worldwide manufacturer of driveline and chassis technology.
ZF Lemforder first turned to Borri, a supplier of high-efficiency uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, when it initially purchased an industrial 300kVA UPS unit, with a transformer, in 2005.
More recently ZF Lemforder has been looking at additional ways to save energy and has subsequently upgraded its UPS system with a more efficient Borri B9000, which came with a three year warranty and maintenance package.
The new UPS unit, installed at the ZF Lemforder manufacturing plant in Birmingham, is being used to provide crucial power supply back-up for a sequence supply production line, which assembles suspension corner module components for the Land Rover Discovery and T5 Sport range.
Borri's team of specialist engineers provided a full turnkey installation service, which included the reconfiguration of existing batteries, the disposal of the old unit and the complete installation and commissioning of the new UPS system.
