Primary and secondary distribution units
Ormazabal has supplied medium voltage switchgear and protection devices for Turguttepe Wind
Power Plant project, located in Milas, Turkey.
The project is promoted by Gestamp Wind and has 12 units of 2 MW Vestas turbines. Ormazabal provided and assembled 34 units of 36 kV CGM.3 secondary type switchgear which are installed inside the wind turbine tower and also 6 units of CPG.0 type primary distribution switchgear in the main distribution substation.
The project is planned to generate 74,25 Gwh of energy per year and started operating in November 2010.
