Another successful year for EEIBA powerball

This year's powerBall, organised by the Electrical and Electronics Industries Benevolent Association (EEIBA), raised £220,000 for the charity.

The sum was raised on the evening through donations, the auction and various activities throughout the night including a tombola and a raffle.

Ian Humphreys, EEIBA president, was thrilled with the turn out to the powerBall. "This year's ball was a great success and not just regarding the money raised, but also the great feedback we received.

"The food was excellent, the entertainment was outstanding and the overall atmosphere was fantastic. I would like to say thank you to everyone who attended and donated their hard earned money, as well as Pat Sheldrake, our head of fundraising operations, and her team for their hard work and dedication to delivering the best powerBall yet."
